As most of you know, I've been playing around with this whole Cake Decorating thing for a few years now. I am happy to announce that, through a lucky set of circumstances, I am going pro!
I've have been hired as a cake decorator by Society Bakery here in Dallas and couldn't be happier. They're one of the best bakeries in Dallas and a great place to hone my skills. I've given notice at my current job and still have to serve my two weeks, but look for an update on bakery life coming soon!

WAHOO KELLY! I am so excited for you! That is seriously one of the coolest jobs EVA! You are very talented and should be paid for your talents! Too bad we're back in Utah, I have a bunch of birthdays coming up, is it possible to ship a cake?
So I'm totally late in commenting but congratulations. As someone who can't decorate a cake, but loves creative baking, I'm totally excited for you. Now if only you were closer, I have to come up with some sort of Nancy Drew themed cake by Saturday. :)
